It is an irrefutable fact that mental
and physical stress, in this contemporary world, has become a concerning issue
for the modern society globally. Considering this, this essay will outline the substantial
reasons which play predominating roles in elevating the stress levels before
suggesting some plausible solutions.
There is a variety of factors
which attribute to increasing the stress in our society. First and foremost,
balancing family and work commitments could be the main reason for a stressed
lifestyle. It is generally seen that these days, the work and family
responsibilities have become too demanding, which leads to not only psychological
but also physiological issues resulting in increased stress. A recent article in The Age revealed that
60% of the working class agreed with the aforementioned reason, which could be
taken as an espousing example to substantiate this aspect. Secondly, living a
solitary life-style could be another significant reason.
Despite the reasons discussed
above regarding the elevated stress levels amongst the humans, there are some
solutions that can be practised to mitigate the impacts. Initially, practicing
certain mindfulness activities could an effective solution to be considered. It
is commonly believed that mindfulness such as meditation and yoga could help us
reduce the stress levels, resulting in better management of our routines.
Secondly, participating in some social and religious activities could be another
solution.
In the end, indeed, it is true
that there are some reasons leading to increased stress levels; however, above
mentioned some solutions could be implemented to alleviate the harmful effects.
